No custody, no intermediary
Cowl is non-custodial software. We never hold your keys or assets, and we cannot move, freeze, or recover them. You are solely responsible for securing your wallet and for every transaction you sign.
Market risk
Digital assets are highly volatile. Their value can fall as fast as it rises, and you can lose some or all of what you put in. Past performance says nothing about future results. Never commit funds you cannot afford to lose.
Protocol and smart-contract risk
Cowl relies on smart contracts and zero-knowledge circuits. Software can contain bugs, and systems can be exploited. Independent audits reduce risk but do not eliminate it and are not a guarantee of safety. Using the protocol is at your own risk.
Privacy is not a shield from the law
Cowl is built for compliant privacy — it hides your activity from the public, not from the obligations that apply to you. Selective disclosure through view keys exists precisely so you can meet those obligations. You remain responsible for your own legal, regulatory, and tax compliance in every jurisdiction that applies to you.
Regulatory risk
The rules that apply to digital assets and privacy-preserving technology are still evolving and differ by jurisdiction. Changes in law or enforcement could affect the protocol, the $COWL token, or your ability to use them.

Supply, allocations, and other token details described on the Site are indicative and may change; final terms are confirmed at launch.
